Personal Statement:

What measures do you favor to increase the number and training level of poll workers available on Election Day?
Poll workers have been the focus of my campaign. I have developed plans that would use civic organizations and college and high school honor students. It would give us a larger group of diverse poll workers. I explain more on my plan at my website at www.natalietennant.com.
What forms of identification do you think are acceptable for registering voters?
Currently there are many options for identification when registering to vote whether in person or by mail. They include a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck or other government document that shows your name and current residence address or driver’s license or valid photo ID. I agree with these methods.
What can the Secretary of State's Office do to encourage more people to vote?
Education, inclusion and excitement are just some of the things that can attract people to vote. We can build this by using various resources like new media, ie: blogs, informational websites or even Youtube. I have proposed an open and engaging Secretary of State’s office where communication among the office, county clerks and the public is vital. It would allow people to feel a part of the process. This would also be done on the ground level by using civic organization to promote the political process and participation as we provide excitement among our friends and colleagues.
